USC lands a commitment from one of the best running backs in the country.
Ty Isaac, a top running back recruit from Joliet (IL) Catholic Academy, has committed to the USC Trojans over the Michigan Wolverines. Isaac also held offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin. Yeah, he's really good. Isaac is a consensus four-star recruit and top-10 back nationally.
Isaac is a big back at 6'2" and 215 pounds. But he is easily able to play running back.
Committed to The University of Southern California

Isaac shows good vision and runs with power. For his size, he also possesses good speed. Isaac also catches the ball pretty well, and if he keeps growing, it would not be out of the question for him to play some h-back, as USC loves to throw the ball to its backs.
Isaac is the seventh commitment of the 2013 class for the Trojans.
