Auburn's new quarterback commitment is raw, but talented.
Jeremy Johnson, a huge quarterback recruit from Montgomery (Al.) Carver High School, has committed to the Auburn Tigers, according to 247sports:
"I have officially committed to being an Auburn Tiger," Johnson told 247Sports.com. "I'm excited, I'm ready to get back home and give the news to my brother and especially my school. I can't imagine when everybody in the state of Auburn knows. It's going to be great."
Johnson stands 6'5 and weighs in at 220 pounds. Johnson is not an elite athlete, but he is not immobile, either. He is a very good basketball player, as well. Johnson is rated three or four stars by most of the major services, and claims offers from Ole Miss, Purdue and LSU, though the LSU offer is a bit questionable. As a passer, Johnson is quite raw, but does show a strong arm and a quick release.
Johnson is Auburn's ninth commitment of the 2013 class.
