Will Alabama lose its top commitment to Auburn or Georgia?
Reuben Foster, a phenomenal linebacker recruit and Alabama commitment who recently transferred to Auburn (AL) High School, has scheduled a press conference for 3 pm EST Thursday.
Speculation is running wild on Twitter and message boards that Will Foster decommit from the Tide. It's certainly possible and has been rumored for quite some time.
But the possibility of a decommitment is only half of the question for the 6'1, 245-pound Foster. There's also a chance that Foster, the consensus top linebacker nationally, will follow up the rumored decommitment with a commitment to Auburn or Georgia.
Foster has connections to both schools.
He was recently profiled as wanting to play with Georgia commitment Tray Matthews, a top safety recruit. However, Foster is rumored to have recently canceled his upcoming visit to 'Dawg Night', a large recruiting event for Georgia scheduled for next week.
That leaves many speculating that Foster will commit to Auburn, spurred by his recent move to the area, and interaction with Auburn's staff.
Alabama is battling for the top recruiting class nationally, and at least for the next four hours, Foster is the Tide's top commitment.
