It's no secret that Florida State is looking to add another running back to its 2013 recruiting class. With the shifty Ryan Green in the fold, the 'Noles would prefer that the second back be of a bigger variety.
Enter Jamel James. Out of Katy (Texas) Cinco Ranch High School, James is an impressive back. He is a no-nonsense runner at 5'11 and 215 pounds, and his physical style fits well with what schools running a pro-style offense are looking for.
And James is visiting Florida State for three days for the Jimbo Fisher Camp, sources close to FSU confirm.
James has been chronicling his trip via Twitter:
Finally crossed that Florida border sunshine state ☀✌

His friend and Florida State commitment Christian Morgan is excited for James to get to Tallahassee.
Ready to get to Tallahassee and show my Texas brother @kingJames_cr6 a good time.

Could the consensus four-star back commit this week? It's possible, but depends on where he falls on FSU's board after working out for the staff.
