Mackensie Alexander, one of the top cornerbacks in the country, has been a tough recruit to follow. Out of Immokalee, Fla., High School, he rarely does interviews, and when he does, he seems to enjoy playing with reporters and having fun with the recruiting process.
Alexander was not expected at the Florida St. Seminoles' camp, as he was at the Alabama Crimson Tide's camp, but then again, it's probably wise to not be surprised by anything Alexander does.
Josh Newberg snapped this photo of Alexander clowning around with Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops:

Previously, Alexander had committed to join the Tennessee Volunteers without ever making a visit to Knoxville. He subsequently decommitted and reopened his recruitment. Florida State has offered his brother, Mackenro, a safety who is considerably less heralded. There is also a question as to the pair making it into school academically, but they have expressed a desire to play together in the past.
