Top Recruit Montravius Adams Visiting Georgia For Tennessee Game

Stay connected with SB Nation

Montravius Adams, the top defensive tackle recruit in the country and perhaps the top uncommitted player nationally, will visit Georgia this weekend as the Bulldogs host the Tennessee Volunteers.

Last weekend, Adams took in Florida State's win over Clemson. The 'Noles are not thought to be a major player for his services, but Clemson and Auburn are.

Georgia will look to sway the Peach State native, along with other top visitors.

Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal Constitution spoke with a coach who has faced Adams:

Wilcox County coach Mark Ledford, who has coached several D1 signees including former UGA DB Nick Marshall, said Montravius lives up to the hype. "I just think he's another kid from our area that has the potential to be a great college football player. I don't know if I've ever seen a kid with that size be as explosive as he is. I haven't ever seen a kid that big get off the ball as quick and athletic as he is."
