One of the top cornerbacks in the 2013 class could be changing his mind soon.
Current USC commit Jalen Ramsey may be looking to switch his allegiance to the Florida Gators. The blue-chip prospect has been taking visits leading up to next month's National Signing Day, but has yet to indicate that he will be headed somewhere other than Los Angeles next fall.
However, current Florida commit and Brentwood Academy teammate of Ramsey, Max Staver, may be pushing hard for his friend to come with him to Gainesville. Staver put out a somewhat cryptic message on his twitter account Tuesday, which has since been deleted. In that message he led many to believe Ramsey may soon be giving his commitment to the Gators:
"@maxstaver: GatorNation gonna be getting some good news real soon from my boy. #teamBA"
The fight may not yet be over for Ramsey's talents. He is scheduled to visit USC on Jan. 18, according to his Rivals page. Ramsey also visited Florida State on Jan. 11, but hasn't officially been to Florida since September. This may be one of those decisions that isn't really known until the pen hits the paper and the fax is sent.
