The Vols will pull out all the stops to try to flip Auburn commit Carl Lawson, but he's not the only important player visiting Knoxville this weekend.

The Tennessee Volunteers are expecting to welcome a nice group of recruits for official visits this weekend as they try to wrap up their 2013 recruiting class.

Tennessee is expecting visits from committed recruits including wide receiver Ryan Jenkins, a consensus three-star recruit from Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter High School, offensive tackle Austin Sanders, a consensus three-star recruit from Cleveland (Tenn.) Bradley Central High School, and athlete Cameron Sutton, a consensus three-star recruit from Jonesboro (Ga.) Jonesboro High School, among others.

They’ll also be looking to sway a group of recruits that is currently uncommitted or committed elsewhere. One such recruit is defensive end Carl Lawson, a consensus five-star recruit from Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton High School, who is currently committed to Auburn, and is scheduled to visit North Carolina on Jan. 25.

Tennessee will also try to convince wide receiver Shelton Gibson, a consensus four-star recruit from Cleveland (Ohio) Cleveland Heights High School, to commit to the Volunteers. Gibson is currently committed to West Virginia, and took an official visit to Ohio State on Jan. 11.

Defensive end Davin Bellamy will also be taking an official visit to Knoxville this weekend. The consensus four-star recruit from Atlanta (Ga.) Chamblee Charter is a Florida State commit, and also has an official visit scheduled for Jan. 25 at Georgia.

Tennessee will look to convince running back Peyton Barber, a consensus three-star recruit from Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton High School, to join the Vols. Barber is currently committed to Ole Miss, and took an official visit to UCLA on Jan. 11, and has another official visit scheduled for Jan. 25 at Texas. If the Vols could snare high school teammates Lawson and Barber, it would be a great day.

Defensive lineman Jaylen Miller is also taking an official visit with the Vols this weekend. A consensus three-star recruit from Gaffney (S.C.) Gaffney High School, Miller took an official visit to Georgia Tech on Jan. 11, and is scheduled for visits to Wake Forest and Maryland over the next week.

The weather in Knoxville this weekend will be a bit on the chilly side, but mostly sunny.
