Eddie Jackson, a talented late bloomer out of Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) Boyd Anderson High School, has named the Alabama Crimson Tide as his leader following his visit to Tuscaloosa, according to multiple reports.
Jackson did not play as a junior due to issues with academics, but his senior season was as good as any defensive back in Florida, and perhaps the country. Jackson possesses tremendous speed, and the recruit is coveted as a defensive back by most programs, but also as a receiver by some.
In December, Jackson briefly committed to Florida State before backing off, realizing that he had done so too soon.
As you can see, his film is quite impressive for a 6'1 or 6'2 (depending on source) athlete.
Jackson also holds offers from Florida State, LSU and Arkansas. He has not committed to the Tide, and plans to visit LSU next weekend, though he has not updated his visit plans after the visit to Alabama.
