Austin Golson, a recruit who had been committed to the Florida State Seminoles for more than a year, has decommitted as of Monday evening, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation.

Golson originally committed to Florida State in April of 2011. Out of Prattville (Ala.) High School, Golson is a consensus four-star recruit and one of the top offensive tackles in the country.

Golson recently visited the Ole Miss Rebels and the Seminoles, and seems legitimately torn between the two.

Ole Miss is having a special recruiting year under coach Hugh Freeze. With the possibility of signing as many as four five-star recruits, Ole Miss is way ahead of schedule. It has unique connections to five-stars Laquon Treadwell (teammate from high school plays for the Rebels) and Robert Nkemdiche (brother plays for Ole Miss). And the school has seized momentum on the trail.

Golson was the Seminoles' highest rated offensive line recruit. Both schools are in need of offensive line recruits.
