2013 Under Armour All-America Football Game rules

OVERALL

Four 15-minute quarters
High school rules for time between plays- 25 SECOND CLOCK ON THE READY
Kickoff from the 30 yard line- COLLEGE RULE
Use of "No huddle offense" is permitted at any time during the game

OFFENSE

No empty formations
No motion
No double TE formations

WR alignment must be 4 yards or more between receivers| No bunch alignments | No 2 WR stack alignments

RB must line up within the offensive tackle box

Running plays permitted:
Inside zone -both ways-can be run out shotgun
Outside zone-both ways-can be run out of shotgun (Note: Outside zone can be a handoff or toss)
RB draw-can be run out of shotgun
QB draw-can be run out of shotgun
Zone read

Blocking schemes permitted on running plays
Man and combo blocking
Center Fold
G scheme for outside zone and toss

Special Plays
All types of screens are permitted (Note: OL can be downfield on all passes thrown behind the LOS)
QB boot-leg off of all running plays

Offensive formations permitted
2-2 TE-Slot
3-1 TE-Trips (3 rec to TE alignment)

Defense

Defensive front declaration of offensive strength: Two TE alignment

One defensive front-center is always uncovered

DE alignment: 6 on TE or OT to side of offensive strength| 5 on OT away from offensive strength

DT alignment: 3 on side of offensive strength | 2I on side away from offensive strength

LB'S-no stack alignments: LB always aligned in the A gap to offensive strength-4 yds or more deep | LB always aligned in the B gap away from offensive strength-4 yds or more deep | LB always aligned to offensive pass strength-walk away alignment-outside box 3 yards or more-4 yards or more deep

No games or stunts with defensive linemen and linebackers

Linebackers must align 4yds or more from the LOS

Coverage-Strong safety will always go to offensive pass strength

Two covers permitted

Cover 1-man free: Align in press-stay in press-no bail | Free safety must align in the middle of the offensive formation | Free LB must drop into coverage | No linemen dropping into coverage or spying for draw or screen

Cover 3-three deep zone 4 underneath: Must have a 4 man rush-no lineman dropping into coverage or spying for draw/screen | Can not press in cover 3 | Free safety must align in the middle of the offensive formation

SPECIAL TEAMS

Fake kicks and punts will not be permitted. Kickoffs will be dome from the 30.
