Alabama landed five-star prospect Da'Shawn Hand on Thursday, beating out Michigan for the the defensive end's services. But despite Rivals suggesting otherwise, Jabrill Peppers, a five-star defensive back, isn't currently planning on flipping from the Wolverines to join Hand with the Crimson Tide, according to his coach.
Hand and Peppers are two of the top four recruits in the Class of 2014, according to the 247Sports Composite. Peppers had been recruiting Hand to Michigan, saying in a video message earlier this week, "You make our class a lot stronger. We have a lot of great recruits on the list already, and you can make us that much stronger. Come get that degree and play top-notch ball in the biggest stadium in college football."
After the speculation that Peppers might be interested in flipping from U-M to 'Bama, his high school coach denied the idea:
Jabrill Peppers' head coach on Yahoo story about Jabrill/Bama: "It's just reporters trying to stir up problems. Jabrill hasn't said a word."

Alabama already has the No. 1 recruit, Louisiana OT Cameron Robinson, and has a shot at No. 2, Louisiana RB Leonard Fournette.
