Mason Cole, a top offensive line recruit, committed to the Michigan Wolverines Monday according to multiple reports. Cole made the call following a visit to Michigan.
Cole stars for Tampa (Fla.) East Lake High School, and is one of three elite players on the roster, along with receivers Artavis Scott and George Campbell.
Cole stands 6'4 and weighs 285 pounds. He is very athletic, and while perhaps not as long as the ideal tackle prospect, should be able to play the position. Cole is a consensus four-star recruit and is widely considered to be an elite offensive guard. His offer list reads like an All-America team, including Alabama, Florida, USC, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Clemson, and others.
Cole is Michigan's fourth commitment of the 2014 recruiting class.
