Tyree, Tyrell Robinson announcement: Brothers to choose Oregon or Washington

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Tyree and Tyrell Robinson will decide between Oregon and Washington Tuesday night, as the twins will announce Tuesday night where they plan on playing both football and basketball.

Arguably the most important decision for Oregon and Washington sports fans this recruiting period will come Tuesday night, when dual-sport athletes Tyree and Tyrell Robinson will announce their school of choice.

The pair had been committed to Oregon, and although they maintained their commitment to Oregon, they began to look around at schools including Ohio State and Notre Dame. However, the decision came down to the two Pacific Northwest schools for the San Diego pair.

The Robinson twins are remarkably athletic: not only are they both talented, they're both talented in both football and basketball. Rivals considers Tyree the No. 153 football player and No. 123 basketball player in the nation, with Tyrell ranked No. 138 in football and as high as No. 121 in basketball. They're both 6'4, with Tyrell listed as five pounds heavier, Tyree considered a defensive back and Tyrell a linebacker. Both players have been clear that they want to play both sports, and that they want to attend college together.
