One of the top recruits in the 2013 class, Tony Conner committed to Ole Miss. Conner was one of the top uncommitted athletes remaining on National Signing Day and is considered a candidate to be the best safety in this class. Here he is throwing up the Ole Miss defense's landsharks sign:
He has great athleticism and pure skills that could make him an incredibly tough defender in the SEC. He figures to be one of those players who can come in and immediately contend to hit the two-deep chart.
Conner has had a pretty wide-open recruitment since things have started, especially since the schools in the mix all had strong cases and potential openings on their depth charts.
Ratings: Five stars
Vitals: 6'2, 202 pounds
Other offers: Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Florida State, Miami, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia
