Elite 2013 linebacker prospect Daniel McMillian enrolled at Florida for the spring semester, and he'll be able to participate in spring drills. McMillian has been a Florida commitment for a long time -- he picked the Gators over Florida State and Alabama, among others, in February of last year.
McMillian's recruitment was a bit of a surprise, because star players from Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast High School have routinely decided to play for the Rival Florida State Seminoles. McMillian grew up a fan of the Gators, however, and never really wavered in his commitment to Florida.

McMillian is ranked by Rivals as the fifth-best player at his position, and the No. 123 overall player in the 2013 class. He is one of several highly-regarded recruits to enroll at Florida early, and he is a part of what is considered one of the top recruiting classes in the nation.
Vitals: He's 6'3" and weighs 220 pounds. He has excellent length and is both aggressive and good in coverage. He should be able to avoid a redshirt and contribute immediate for the Gators in 2013, though perhaps not as a starter.
Other offers: McMillian is one of the most highly sought-after recruits in the country. He received scholarship offers from the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson and Florida State.
