Sandland is a big piece of the Hurricanes' 2013 recruiting class, and he could have an impact on the field this upcoming season.
Junior college tight end Beau Sandland is one of the early enrollees in Miami's 2013 recruiting class. Sandland committed to the Hurricanes in December, and now that he's on campus taking classes, he'll be able to get a head start on his football career and participate in spring drills

Sandland is rated as the top junior college tight end in the country by 247Sports, and the No. 6 overall juco prospect in the class of 2013. He has two years of college eligibility remaining.
Ratings: Both Rivals and 247Sports rate Sandland as a four-star prospect.
Vitals: He's 6'6" and weighs 260 pounds.
