The Miami Hurricanes added an excellent receiver to their 2013 recruiting class Wednesday, as Stacy Coley decided to play his college football in Miami instead of signing with the Florida State Seminoles, making the announcement live on ESPNU.

Coley is a consensus four-star player out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Northeast High School. He checks in at 6'1, 175 pounds, and he's on record with a speedy 4.5 40-yard dash. In addition to Miami and FSU, Coley also had 12 other offers from schools such as Alabama and Ole Miss.

The 247Sports composite rankings tab Coley as the No. 7 wide receiver recruit in the Class of 2016 and the No. 14 player from the state of Florida. He made official and unofficial visits to Florida State, Miami and South Florida in recent weeks. When James Coley (no relation) left Jimbo Fisher's staff at Florida State to become offensive coordinator at Miami, some began to wonder if the Hurricanes would be able to land the wide receiver, who long favored the Seminoles. Said SB Nation's Bud Elliott at the time:

Miami has begun to pursue him more aggressively of late, and Coley was one of his primary recruiters. It's easy to foresee Coley selling him on Miami's depth chart and coming to Coral Gables to be the feature receiver in the Hurricanes' new offense.

Coley was a 2013 Under Armour All-America Game selection, and he should provide a nice boost to Miami's receiving corps. Once he puts on some weight to his thin frame, he should add big-play potential on the outside.

Ratings: Consensus four-star

Vitals: 6'1, 175 pounds

Other offers: Miami, Florida, South Florida, Louisville, Marshall, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin
