National Signing Day is usually the end of a high school player's recruitment, but not for everyone. Here's a look at the top players who have yet to sign with a school after National Signing Day.
With National Signing Day in the books and the majority of the 2013 class signed to letters of intent, attention now turns to the players who have not yet signed on with schools. There are a variety of reasons for waiting past National Signing Day to make a decision. Some schools may want a kid to sort out an academic or eligibility issue before they sign, a player may have other off-field issues he's working on, or he may just want more time to make a decision.
The 2013 recruiting cycle doesn't have any extremely high-profile holdouts, like Stefon Diggs in 2012 or Jadeveon Clowney in 2011, but there is still a fair amount of talent across the country that has yet to find a landing place. Priest Willis is expected to sign with UCLA this week, so we won't count him here.
Here's a list of the nation's top 25 unsigned prospects from the 2013 recruiting cycle, and some clarification on why they haven't signed anywhere yet (If there is a reason). The list is based on the 247composite rankings, courtesy of 247sports.com:
