New Miami football commit has really, really thorough personal website

Meanwhile neither you nor I has updated a LinkedIn page since 2011.

St. Petersburg's Reilly Gibbons, rated a four-star offensive line recruit, has committed to play for Miami.

When he officially joins a college team next year, he'll presumably be bringing his personal website with him, which tracks his scholarship offers, everything written about him and videos and includes a well-written bio spanning 500 words. Some unusual choices made the cut, like screenshotting outside articles instead of linking to them (though it could be argued one has cause to grab from pay sites when one is the subject of pay site articles) and linking to a Twitter hashtag instead of a feed. But it's highly navigable, and unlike former Hurricane Bryce Brown's high school website, it does not require a membership fee.

Kids these days!
