Demarre Kitt, a top receiver recruit, committed to the Clemson Tigers Thursday. The move was expected by most. Kitt announced the commitment via his twitter account.
Kitt is a consensus four-star recruit at the receiver position and is widely considered one of the best 15 receivers nationally. He stands 6'1 and weighs in at 195 pounds, which is good size for the position. Kitt had offers from many major programs in the southeast, but ultimately chose Clemson over Ohio State. Kitt stars for Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek High School and is very active on twitter.
Clemson fans can view highlights of Kitt at this link. Kitt is the ninth commitment for Clemson in the 2014 class, and the fifth from Georgia. Verbal commitments are non-binding and change frequently.
