Arrion Springs talks Oregon and Texas prior to decision

The four-star will announce his commitment at The Opening.

BEAVERTON, Oregon -- San Antonio (Texas) Roosevelt cornerback Arrion Springs finally made his long-awaited trip out to Oregon about two weeks ago and is set to make his decision while in Oregon for the prestigious Nike event.

The universal expectation from the industry based on the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions have the 5'11, 190-pound cornerback choosing the Ducks. However, a recent trip up I-35 to Austin to visit with the Longhorns may have helped Texas, a school that appeared out of the running early but managed to claw back into his recruitment.

SB Nation Recruiting caught up with Springs during the first day of The Opening after SPARQ testing and the NFTC to talk about his upcoming announcement and where things stand with him hours before he ends his recruitment.
