Evaluating 2015 QB Nathan Elliott at 7on7

SB Nation Recruiting breaks down the game of the Celina signal-caller.

LEANDER, Texas -- When 2015 Celina (Texas) quarterback Nathan Elliott broke onto the recruiting scene, it was during a freshman season that saw him led a major comeback against Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian during Week 0, an exceptional performance.

Now getting ready to enter his junior season, Elliott holds his first major offer from North Carolina. SB Nation Recruiting not only spoke with Elliott about the recruiting process, but also watched him during pool play at the Texas 7on7 State Championship late last week, spoke with a person with knowledge of his development as a quarterback, and broke down where Elliott's game stands and what he needs to work on entering his all-important junior campaign.
