Update: Or not?
So we are all clear...Dj did not de-commit from USC.

Four-star outside linebacker Derik Calhoun has decommitted from USC in the wake of the Trojans' dismissal of head coach Lane Kiffin, according to Rivals ($).
Calhoun was considered one of the stars of USC's 2014 class, which had disappointed with just seven commitments -- the 247sports composite team rankings had them ninth in the Pac-12 before Calhoun's decommitment. Now down to six, the coaching staff will have to scramble to keep the remaining 2014 pledges, while working to fill out the class and fighting to make a bowl game.
Ultimately, Kiffin's firing should work out positively for USC's recruiting chances -- 2014 running back Demario Richard previously stated that the Trojans would only have a chance if Kiffin was dismissed and recruits have expressed dismay at the environment at the Coliseum as fans continually called for Kiffin's job.
Calhoun is expected to still consider USC, but took visits to UCLA and Washington prior to his commitment.
Of USC's six remaining 2014 commitments, three are four-stars while three are three-stars. All six are from California.
