BYU's Bronco Mendenhall draws pictures of recruits, apparently?

Rafael Suanes-USA TODAY Sports

In a year full of unusual recruiting gimmicks, we may have our most unusual yet: BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall allegedly sent cornerback recruit Dayan Lake a hand-drawn picture, purportedly of Lake in his BYU uniform (via Lake's Instagram account):

The caption from Lake:

The picture I got in the mail that coach Mendenhall drew for me. Its how I'm gonna look in the BYU gear when I play for them:)

The portrait would join the Mississippi State "YOU'RE A BALLER," "can of swag," and stick people letters, and the NC State "YOU=BALLER" letter, on the Mount Rushmore of recruiting letters.

Lake, a four-star Class of 2015 cornerback recruit from Layton, Utah, committed to BYU in March.
