The third-best cornerback in the country has committed to the Tide.

The third-best cornerback in the class of 2014 has made his collegiate choice, as Marlon Humphrey has committed to Alabama.

Listed at 6'1 and 175 pounds, the consensus five-star prospect attends Hoover (Ala.) High School and hails from Birmingham. The 247sports composite considers him the 12th-best prospect in the class, rating him as the third-best cornerback in the country and the best player in the state of Alabama. He is the sixth player in the Tide's class who is considered the top player in his state.

Humphrey chose Alabama over Florida State, but also had offers from schools such as Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Alabama had previously targeted cornerback Jalen Tabor, the fourth-best corner in the country, but he committed to Florida.
