Jamil Kamara, one of the top wide receivers in the 2014 class, committed to the Virginia Cavaliers at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday.
Kamara, who played his high school ball at Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School (Va.), is ranked by 247Sports as the 125th-best prospect in his class. He's also listed as one of the top athletes and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Virginia. At 6'2 and 211 pounds, Kamara has the size and speed to be a real playmaker down the field for the Cavaliers.
In the hours leading up to his commitment, Kamara listed Pittsburgh, Virginia and Wisconsin as his three finalists. He received plenty of interest throughout his recruitment, earning upward of 20 scholarship offers from schools primarily out of the ACC, Big Ten and SEC.
