Treon Harris, a four-star athlete out of Booker T. Washington High School in Miami, Fla., flipped his commitment from Florida State to Florida. Harris has faxed in his National Letter of Intent to the Gators.
Harris is listed by 247Sports Composite rankings as the 123rd-best player overall in the 2014 class. He is listed as the ninth-best athlete, though most believe he will end up being a quarterback in college. He could also end up being a cornerback or slot receiver. Harris ranks as the 18th-best player from Florida, as well.
Harris committed to the Seminoles back in July, but he still took official visits to Auburn, Florida and Miami in January as he weighed his final options. Leading up to National Signing Day, many believed he would end up a Florida Gator. In the end, Harris decided Florida was the right university for him.
Florida's class now has two quarterbacks, as the Gators also signed Will Grier, one of the best quarterbacks in the country.
