- Then I discuss what current recruits remember about college football history, and how that impacts recruiting.
- Next up, a listener asked if Virginia Tech was capable of recruiting at a national championship level, and which other schools might be on the bubble of being able to do so? I laid out 16 teams who, in my mind, are absolutely capable. But nine teams made me pause: Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, UCLA, Washington, Stanford, Michigan State, and Virginia Tech. Ultimately, I decided that four of those were definitely in the “NO” category. Listen to find out who, and why.
- Will the SEC really have the best QBs in 2017? A twitter discussion on this topic ensued over the weekend, and while I have been driving the “SEC QBs will be improved in 2017” train, I think it’s time to jump off if people are really going to believe the SEC’s QBs would go from worst to first.
- Finally, a discussion of regular season win total wagers from Vegas. If Vegas is right about Tennessee, UCLA, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Arizona, will those coaching staffs be fired?
