Spruce Derden-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Quan Bray is being charged with loud music, possession of alcohol under 21 and a driver's permit violation.

The Auburn Tigers will be without one of their top skill players on Saturday, as wide receiver Quan Bray has been suspended by the team following a Thursday arrest.

During a traffic stop for playing loud music, police discovered that Bray was driving on a limited permit and had an open container of alcohol in the car.

In response to Bray's actions, head coach Gene Chizik decided that Bray will not be playing for at least one week.

"He's been a great teammate, he's been an honor roll student. I'm proud of the way, in the last year and a half, he's carried himself and the way he's overcome a lot of adversity,'' Chizik said. "I'll let you know when he'll be back on the field, but it certainly won't be against Arkansas.''

Bray is Auburn's third receiver and has 11 catches for 82 yards this season. The sophomore is expected to be replaced in the lineup by Trovon Reed.
