After what we assume to be a legal obligation to visit a Big Ten conference game each season, ESPN's College GameDay will be back in SPEED COUNTRY on Saturday, setting up shop at the Georgia-South Carolina game.
But the real news: In keeping with the tradition of featuring an inoffensive, overexposed musician with ties to the local campus, "country" star and former Hootie & The Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker has been tapped to be the celebrity picker:

Your parents will probably be pretty fired up about this selection, and it's all but a given that Rucker knows a hell of lot more about college football than Turtle from "Entourage."
