After what we assume to be a legal obligation to visit a Big Ten conference game each season, ESPN's College GameDay will be back in SPEED COUNTRY on Saturday, setting up shop at the Georgia-South Carolina game.
But the real news: In keeping with the tradition of featuring an inoffensive, overexposed musician with ties to the local campus, "country" star and former Hootie & The Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker has been tapped to be the celebrity picker:

Your parents will probably be pretty fired up about this selection, and it's all but a given that Rucker knows a hell of lot more about college football than Turtle from "Entourage." And, uh ... there's not much more to say about this, because much like Rucker's music, it's hard to do anything but shrug and hum along indifferently.
