The Midshipmen and Chippewas play before a national television audience on Friday night.

The Navy Midshipmen (2-3) hit the road on Friday night when they play the Central Michigan Chippewas (2-3) at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.

Both teams enter the game with 2-3 records and at least one good win so far this season. The Middies are coming off of a 28-21 win on the road at Air Force in overtime. Despite earning the victory, Navy surrendered over 500 yards of offense, including 363 yards on the ground. Navy started the season with blowout losses to Notre Dame and Penn State.
