Arizona State was able to pull away from Colorado in the second half to win, 51-17.

The Arizona St. Sun Devils turned up their game in the second half, pulling away to defeat the Colorado Buffaloes, 51-17. The Sun Devils improved to 5-1 on the year, and remained undefeated in the Pac-12 with a 3-0 record. The Buffaloes fell to 1-5 overall, and 1-2 in league play.

Arizona State was led by quarterback Taylor Kelly, who completed 20-of-28 passes for 308 yards and five touchdowns. Kelly's favorite target on the night was Marion Grice, who caught five passes for 103 yards, with three of those receptions being touchdowns.

Colorado made a comeback in the first half, scoring the final 10 points to make it a 20-17 game, but Arizona State came out strong in the second half to outscore the Buffs, 31-0.

The scoring began for the Sun Devils when Rashad Ross returned the second half kickoff for 100 yards to put Arizona State back on top by 10 points. The defense played extremely well for Arizona State in the second half, holding Colorado to just 84 total yards and forcing them to go three-and-out on four straight possessions at one point.

The offense kept up the same pace as the defense, as Kelly threw two touchdown passes in the second half, while running back Cameron Marshall picked up 67 of his 98 yards and scored the final touchdown of the game.
