The Iowa State Cyclones hope to hand the Kansas State Wildcats their first loss of the season just a week after knocking off a ranked TCU team on the road.
The Iowa State Cyclones look to knock off their second ranked Big 12 opponent in as many weeks, while the No. 6 Kansas State Wildcats look to stay undefeated on the road in hopes of winning their first conference championship since 2003.
Kansas State has rolled through its competition thus far this season: the Wildcats demolished Miami and Kansas behind the strong play of dual-threat quarterback Collin Klein, and took down then-No. 6 Oklahoma 24-19 on the road in Norman. Not much was expected from Bill Snyder's squad in 2012, but they've done everything asked of them in their five games thus far.
Meanwhile, the only blemish on Iowa State's record is a 24-13 loss to Texas Tech, but they bounced back last week by taking down a previously undefeated TCU squad. The Cyclones were aided by a pair of quarterback changes: while the Horned Frogs were without Casey Pachall for the first time on Saturday, Iowa State started Jared Barnett over Steele Jantz for the first time on the season, and Barnett responded by tossing three touchdowns to Josh Lenz.
Game time, TV channel: 12 p.m. ET, FX
Point spread: Kansas State favored by 7.5
