Texas' stats aren't looking so good

Nothing is working for Texas. Just nothing. At all.

If you're a Texas fan, it might be a good time to do some yardwork. Or anything, really. Just look away from the Red River Shootout before it does permanent damage.

How bad has it been thus far? To the stats!

  • Texas has 14 yards of total offense so far. Oklahoma has 239 total yards, and 20 points.
  • Ten first downs for the Sooners ... nada for the Longhorns.
  • Five rushing attempts for six yards for Texas, an average of 1.2 yards per carry.
  • On the plus side, the Longhorns do have two points. Thank goodness for that awful extra point snap and return.
  • Heeeeey, Texas is penalty-free, too! Nice!
So yeah, just take the dog for a walk. Maybe grab some lunch and listen to smooth jazz. Anything would be better than this game if you're a Texas fan at this point.

By the time you get back, the Longhorns might have a first down.
