The USC Trojans defense stepped up by forcing turnovers on Keith Price and got some touchdowns from Silas Redd and Matt Barkley to beat the Washington Huskies.

The USC Trojans pulled off a methodical if somewhat bland victory over the Washington Huskies, winning 24-14 to improve to 3-1 in Pac-12 play. Here are the highlights from the USC-Washington game.

The USC offense didn't need to do all that much; it was the defense who took care of business. The USC defense forced four turnovers, all of them on Keith Price. An early USC interception on Price set up a Silas Redd touchdown rush to make it 10-0 USC. Washington responded with a drive that ended with Keith Price finding Kasen Williams for a 17 yard touchdown.

Then USC had their best offensive drive of the game, as Matt Barkley finished it off by finding tight end Xavier Grimble. Later on in the second quarter, Anthony Brown came in and blocked the punt of Travis Coons, scooped up the touchdown and rumbled into the end zone to make it 24-7. Washington would threaten multiple times in the second half and score once, but they would never get within ten.
