The Ohio State Buckeyes welcome the Purdue Boilermakers to Ohio Stadium in Columbus for a Big Ten Leaders Division matchup on Saturday.
At 7-0, Ohio State ranks No.7 in the Associated Press Top 25 after surviving a 52-49 scare from the Indiana Hoosiers last week. Quarterback Braxton Miller heads the Buckeyes' top-ten rushing attack by averaging 130 rushing yards per game. While also completing 61 percent of his passes, he is supported in the run game by Carlos Hyde and Jordan Hall, who combine to add another 100 rushing yards per game.
After a fast 3-1 start that included a close loss to Notre Dame, Purdue has dropped its last two games in big fashion at home. Its most recent, a 38-14 loss to Wisconsin, could spell trouble for the Boilermakers against Ohio State's potent run game. Purdue gave up a whopping 467 rushing yards to the Badgers in that loss.
For games in Columbus, Ohio State leads the overall series with Purdue 25-5-2.
Game time, TV channel: 12:00 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN2
Point spread: Ohio State is favored by 18.5 points.
