Baylor at Texas TV schedule, previews, spread and more

Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE

Texas and Baylor are both struggling, but one of them will com away a winner when they square off in Austin.

The heat is on Mack Brown, although just how much heat is on him depends on who you ask. Regardless, things do not look good for Texas after losing to West Virginia at home and then getting the bejesus beat out of them by rivals Oklahoma. And even if Brown feels relatively safe now, if the Longhorns lose to Baylor for a third straight season, then Brown will really be feeling the pressure.

David Ash injured his non-throwing hand last week, but it appears as if he will play this week. That isn't true of Jackson Jeffcoat, who is out for the season.

Meanwhile, the Bears have problems of their own. They are off to a 0-2 start in Big 12 play and were destroyed by TCU 49-21 last week. Nick Florence tossed four picks to kill any chance Baylor had of covering for their dreadful defense, which is allowing 42 points per game.

Game time, TV channel: 8 p.m. ET, ABC

Point spread: Texas favored by 9 points.
