The Tide and Tigers will square off in primetime.
The kickoff time for the Nov. 3 meeting between the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers has been set for 8 p.m. ET, with television coverage by CBS. Last season, the game between these two teams decided the SEC West, and that could prove true again in 2012, though plenty remains unsettled in the division at this point.
The Crimson Tide lost last year's regular season meeting in overtime, 9-6, but got their revenge by beating the Tigers in the BCS championship game, 21-0.
Alabama currently leads the West with a 4-0 conference record, and LSU is third at 3-1. Between them sits Mississippi State, which plays at Alabama this Saturday. The Tigers are off this weekend, giving them two weeks to prepare for the Alabama game. After they face the Crimson Tide, the Tigers host Mississippi State, so despite the loss they suffered to Florida earlier this season, they remain in control of their SEC West destiny.
