The Georgia Bulldogs handed the Florida Gators their first loss and took control of their SEC destiny in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
The Georgia Bulldogs derailed the national title hopes of the Florida Gators and put themselves back on track for the SEC Championship Game with a 17-9 victory in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Here are the video highlights.
It was a defensive-minded contest. After Georgia scored on their opening drive with a Todd Gurley 10 yard touchdown rush, the Gators and the Bulldogs combined for four field goals in the next three quarters. Florida and Georgia only had 29 total first downs on the game, turning the football over a combined eight times. It wasn't until Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray found Malcolm Mitchell and turned up the sidelines for a Georgia touchdown that either team found the end zone again.
Jarvis Jones finished with one of the greatest performances in Cocktail Party history, sacking Jeff Driskel three times, tackling 13 Gators, and forcing two fumbles, including the crucial strip of Jordan Reed in the end zone on Florida's final drive.
