Alabama and Oregon remain in line for the national title game in Week 10's bowl projections update, as the Ducks have the chance to finish the season with wins against more ranked opponents than Kansas State does. That's not exactly how the BCS works, but as a quick look at how strength of schedule could eventually shake out, it's how I'm operating at the moment.
K-State remains one of the country's most deserving teams, and under a playoff format would get its fair chance. Thus, the Fiesta would be lucky to get to pair the two.
The Sugar gets next pick, and with Georgia now in line to play Alabama in the SEC title game, a UGA-Louisville matchup seems like the call. The Orange goes last, and Boise State becomes the first one-loss team from a non-AQ conference to play in a BCS bowl.
Complete bowl projections for all 35 games, with asterisks for teams filling in slots other conferences couldn't:
Rich Rodriguez would play against West Virginia here. I rest my case.
