Undefeated Texas Tech welcomes Oklahoma into Lubbock for a key Big 12 showdown.
Undefeated at home against the Oklahoma Sooners since 2003, the Texas Tech Red Raiders welcome in quarterback Landry Jones and the Sooners for a key, early-season Big 12 meeting between the two squads.
The Red Raiders also dealt the Sooners a key loss in Norman in 2011, breaking Oklahoma's longstanding 39-game home winning streak. The Sooners will look to return the favor in Lubbock on Saturday after losing the last time they hit the field this season — a home loss to the Kansas State Wildcats.
Jones leads the Sooners on the year, with 773 passing yards and five touchdowns on the year. Running back Damien Williams has been key, rushing for five touchdowns and 293 yards on just 30 carries.
The undefeated Red Raiders are led into the key matchup Saturday by quarterback Seth Doege, who has already thrown 15 touchdowns on the year against three interceptions. Red Raiders running backs Kenny Williams and Eric Stephens Jr. both have rushed for more than 250 yards through their first four games.
Game time, TV channel: Saturday, Oct. 6, 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2
Point spread: Oklahoma is favored by 5.5 points on the road
