No. 12 Ohio State will host No. 21 Nebraska on Saturday with the Buckeyes looking to avenge last season's 34-27 loss to Nebraska.
For the second straight week, the No. 12 Ohio State Buckeyes will face a ranked opponent. After going on the road last week and defeating then-No. 20 Michigan State, the Buckeyes will return home this week to face No. 21 Nebraska.
Ohio State will look to avenge their loss to Nebraska last season. The Buckeyes led by as many as 21 points in the third quarter of that game, but the Cornhuskers scored the final 28 points to pull out a 34-27 win. Braxton Miller, who was injured during the third quarter of that game, will look to continue his strong play. Miller leads Ohio State in passing and rushing and is coming off a 136-yard rushing performance against Michigan State.
Nebraska has a dual-threat quarterback of its own in Taylor Martinez. Martinez has completed 67.8 percent of his passes this season while tossing 11 touchdowns and just one interception. He's also rushed for 298 yards, including 107 in Nebraska's 30-27 win against Wisconsin last week. The Cornhuskers have one of the best rushing offenses in the country this season, ranking fifth with an average of 305.8 yards per game.
Saturday's game will be just the fourth meeting between the two schools. Ohio State has won two of the previous three contests.
Game time, TV channel: 8 p.m. ET, ABC
Point spread: Ohio State favored by 4.5 points
