The Arkansas Razorbacks ended their four-game losing streak Saturday with a 24-7 victory over Auburn on the Tigers' home turf.

The Arkansas Razorbacks put the final nail in Auburn's bowl hopes Saturday afternoon with a 24-7 victory over the Tigers on their home turf.

The Razorbacks (2-4) got the upset party started with a two-yard rushing touchdown from running back Dennis Johnson as the clock winded down in the first. Arkansas would add on to their lead in the second after a fumble from Auburn wide receiver Emory Blake set up a 27-yard Zach Hocker field goal.

Arkansas wrangled in their second takeway of the game during Auburn's two-minute drill with quarterback Kiehl Frazier tossing an interception to cornerback Will Hines. That blunder would cost Frazier his job as head coach Gene Chizik elected to go with backup Clint Moseley coming out of the locker room.

Moseley responded by leading Auburn (1-4) on their only scoring drive of the game at the end of the third when the junior quarterback found Blake for a 21-yard touchdown through the air. But the Razorbacks would counter on their very next drive with wideout Brandon Mitchell hooking up with fellow pass catcher Javontee Herndon on 26-yard touchdown pass off a reverse.

Arkansas collected another fumble on the following drive to set up Johnson's second rushing touchdown of the day. That 17-point cushion would be more than enough for the Razorbacks to close out the game.

Arkansas finished the day with five takeaways (three interceptions, two fumbles) after only collecting two through the first five games of the 2012 season.

Box Score Hero: Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson was sharp completing 20-of-27 passes for 216 yards. Johnson also did his job on the ground with 76 yards and two touchdowns.

Rankings Ramifications: Neither of these teams are on the AP's radar after their slow starts.

But Did They Cover? Aurburn didn't even come close to covering as they were favored by 9.5 points.
