Like Gary Patterson, Mike Gundy isn't saying anything about Arkansas.
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy declined to comment on the vacant Arkansas job, according to the Tulsa World's Jimmie Tramel. Gundy said he does "not want to talk about speculative reports or other jobs."
The Razorbacks are looking for a head coach to replace John L. Smith, who is working as the team's interim coach for one season. In a perfect world, the Razorbacks would have a new coach in about a month. Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long said last month he'd ideally like to have a new coach in place by mid-December.
TCU Horned Frogs head coach Gary Patterson denied rumors that he's in the running to be Arkansas' next head coach.
Arkansas is 4-6 overall this season and 2-4 in the Southeastern Conference. The Razorbacks started the season 1-4 but have won three of their last five games. Arkansas is coming off of a 38-20 loss to No. 8 South Carolina on Saturday.
The Razorbacks finish on the road against Mississippi State Saturday before hosting LSU in their regular-season finale.
