Jordan Wynn, who suffered a career-ending series of shoulder injuries while at Utah, will join former Utes offensive coordinator Norm Chow in Hawaii as the Warriors' quarterbacks coach.
Former Utah Utes quarterback Jordan Wynn will join the Hawaii Warriors' staff next season to serve as the team's quarterbacks coach, according to Lya Wodraska of the Salt Lake Tribune.
Wynn was forced to retire earlier this season after suffering a shoulder injury, his third in as many seasons, in a loss to the Utah State Aggies. A senior in 2012, Wynn completed 25 of 38 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns in a little more than one game worth of action.
To cap off his freshman season, Wynn earned 2009 Poinsettia Bowl MVP honors after throwing for 338 yards and three touchdowns in the Utes' 37-27 victory over the California Golden Bears. The following season, he led the Utes to a 10-2 regular-season record while throwing for 2,334 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Wynn will be reunited in Hawaii with head coach Norm Chow, who was Utah's offensive coordinator in 2011.
