Although Denard Robinson is still limited, he could make an appearance against Iowa.
Update: Robinson entered the game at running back, taking a pitch and a swing pass on the first two plays. Shortly after, he lined up at quarterback with Devin Gardner also in the game.
Michigan Wolverines' quarterback Denard Robinson will be a game-time decision today against the Iowa Hawkeyes, according to Jenn Brown at ESPN. Because Robinson's throwing remains extremely limited by a nerve injury in his throwing arm that he suffered on Oct. 27 against Nebraska, he could appear in a running play.
Michael Rothstein points out that the quarterback has not made much progress from last week, as the injury continues to hamper his throwing. Still, it is Senior Day (the last home game of the season), so Michigan coach Brady Hoke may try to sneak Robinson into the game in some capacity, primarily as a symbolic gesture.
Rothstein and others note that Robinson is taking some snaps in the pre-game warm-up, but struggling to throw accurately. Because of the injury, Robinson still cannot grip the ball properly. Whether or not Robinson plays, he is unlikely to figure prominently in the outcome of the game.
