Bruce Thorson-US PRESSWIRE
Senior Denard Robinson's playing his last game in the Big House. Boy, is he ever!
The questions regarding Denard Robinson entering his last home game as a senior: would he play, and would he take on any non-quarterbacking duties? The answers are yes and YES.
Already he's lined up at both running back and quarterback, carried the ball five times, caught it once out of the backfield, broke a 40-yard run up the sideline, and did this on a play that was called back by penalty:
Get sassy, Al Borges!
Against an Iowa team highly unlikely to put up much of a fuss on the scoreboard, Michigan is pretty much free to showcase Denard for the duration. With Devin Gardner looking capable at quarterback (five of seven for 68 yards, two touchdowns) and raising hopes for next season, this is fine with anybody who's enjoyed watching Robinson over the years. (Many, many people have done this.)
