Stanford vs. Oregon score update: Ducks tie it, 7-7, in 2nd quarter

The No. 2 Oregon Ducks are fighting back to avoid an upset, tying No. 13 Stanford at 7-7 with just over three minutes remaining in the first half.

Stanford was given a prime opportunity to take a commanding lead over Oregon following a turnover on downs by the Ducks, yet the Cardinal's drive stalled at the Oregon 41. Stanford elected to play the odds and go for it on with 1 yard to go on fourth down, but Kevin Hogan's pass intended for Ryan Hewitt fell incomplete and gave the ball back to Oregon with prime field position.

The Ducks took just three plays to move 59 yards, thanks to Marcus Mariota's 22-yard pass to Josh Huff, which was followed up just a play later with a 28-yard touchdown pass to Keanon Lowe to tie the game.

Mariota is 9-for-13 for 103 yards and touchdown so far in the game, adding 74 yards rushing on four carries.
