Kansas State vs. Baylor score update: Bears leading big, 45-24

Stay connected with SB Nation

Despite being handed a gift touchdown to get back into the game in the third quarter, No. 1 Kansas State continues to struggle offensively and now trails 45-24 after a quick 10 points by Baylor.

Baylor quarterback Nick Florence recovered from his goal-line interception, leading the Bears on a 13-play, 45-yard scoring drive that was capped by Aaron Jones' 50-yard field goal. The drive stalled following a Baylor holding penalty and a questionable non-call on possible pass interference in the end zone.

The Kansas State offense was once again forced to punt after just three plays, however, quickly giving the explosive Bears offense the ball back near midfield. Glasco Martin's 15-yard touchdown run, his third rushing touchdown of the game, just four plays into the drive gave Baylor a dominating 45-24 lead.

The K-State offense has gained just 254 yards in the game so far, compared to 460 yards offense for Nick Florence and Baylor.
